RARE " BROOKLANDS GREEN " (only 150 made by land rover) RANGE ROVER CLASSIC for sale at JAKE WRIGHT,s, 

1992 "Brooklands Green" special edition model Range Rover Classic made by land rover of which only 150 were produced and should not be confused with the LSE models which were not called Brookland Green or none original copies.

These now very rare Range Rovers were fitted at the land rover factory with an aero body styling kit and alloy wheels designed by TWR (Tom Walkinshaw Racing)and were finished in the very British "Brooklands Green" paintwork,giving a sporty look..

Tom Walkinshaw was involved in the 70,s and 80,s with all types of racing including Le Mans 24 hour and formula one, winning the European touring car championship in 1984 .As well as many other achievements the TWR team also prepared the racing jaguars and Rover cars during that time.

Most of these Range Rover "Brooklands Green" vehicles went for export so making these a very rare vehicle.

This one is a genuine UK spec model.

It has the 3.9 litre V8 engine with a ZF automatic gearbox and has Air conditioning as standard. 

Originally these Brooklands models had a CD muti changer in the back working a 6 speaker stereo system, this one still has the speakers but the CD unit in the rear has been removed and replaced in the front with another Landrover Radio/CD player..

This vehicle has a part service history,with stamped up service book also with a very nicely presented comprehensive folder of receipts , etc and it was apparently dry stored for a part of its life with documentaion to show when it was on SORN
The last owner was an advisor to the UK government and Nato with documentation showing that the vehicle has been serviced at main Landrover dealers in the countries in which he was working at the time.

This is a matching numbers vehIcle and the mileage is only 89K and the vehicle has had only 3 owners one being the owners wife..

The vehicle is solid underneath with waxoyl added protection and it has only minor marks to the paintwork,as to be expected on a vehicle of this age.

The Interior is excellent, seats door cards all being in very good condition and the roof lining has been recently profesionally replaced with the correct original material.

There hasnt been any extra items fitted so all the dash is original without any holes or damage as you can see on the pics

The engine is the Land rover 3.9 litre V8 petrol which starts runs and performs excellently.

The ZF gearbox performs perfectly and the whole vehicle feels great on the road as would be expected of a vehicle of this pedigree.

Everything on the vehicle works correctly e.g the rear upper tailgate opens and closes correctly .

The distinctive TWR designed alloy wheels have been fully refurbished in the original 2 tone colours of gunmetal grey with silver edging.

The Range Rover will have a service with us in our workshop and will be presented with a new MOT at time of sale.
