Here are some pictures taken during the restoration-- The vehicle restoration has been started by the fitting of a new galvanised chassis frame which has been painted black for authenticity.
SERIES 2A, 2.25 PETROL, 88" STATION WAGON - A similar previously refurbished vehicle
The new galvanised and painted chassis being fitted to the axles.
A new fuel tank has been fitted.
All new brake pipes, hydraulic cylinders and flexi hoses have been fitted.
An alternator is fitted in place of the dynamo for more efficient charging. The wiring loom has been professionally made to suit this modification.
The bulkhead with replacement footwells fitted after painting prior to installation.
The bulkhead has now been fitted to the rolling chassis.
The new professsionally made wiring loom with the correct period cloth outer covering fitted has now been installed.
The rear body tub has now been fitted and has had new cross members fitted underneath the floor.
New hydraulic cylinders, hoses and pipes have been fitted to brakes and clutch.
